Three inspiring Valentine’s Day campaigns

We put our heads together and came up with a short round-up of the campaigns that made us look twice

Discover gifts made with love

Discover gifts made with love – Etsy

Back in 2021, the Etsy team created a simple social media graphic for their sellers to post to their own channels for Valentine’s Day. The graphic featured the simplest of messages sat above the Etsy logo. Not only does it create a sense of community, it also expands Etsy’s marketing reach in a push to increase website/app traffic and even potentially inspire new sellers to join.

Crazy Self Love

#CrazySelfLove pledge – Crazy Owl

Valentine’s Day campaigns can easy fall into ‘yawn’ territory. Even those in the happiest relationship can grow tired of businesses telling them to express their love to their significant other in the form of flowers or chocolates on one specific day of the year. Personal care brand Crazy Owl, is breaking the mould this year by encouraging its customers to practise self-care with its #CrazySelfLove campaign, encouraging customers to focus on themselves and take a break from hectic lifestyles by pampering themselves instead.

Flower Shop

I can buy myself flowers – The Flower Plant

Our favourite Valentine’s Day moment this year was created by a local business to The Bright Media Agency. The Flower Plant, a wonderful florist based in Sileby, Leicestershire dedicated its window display to the recent hit by Miley Cyrus. It encourages people to not simply wait and see if they receive flowers this Valentine’s, but instead to feel empowered to buy themselves a bunch.
