A monthly digital magazine supporting thousands of convenience store retailers with essential advice, information and inspiration, plus comprehensive trade PR services, for the UK’s largest wholesale buying group.
Unitas Wholesale wanted an authoritative, engaging digital communication to speak directly with the retailers operating convenience stores both under its own fascias and beyond.
This would offer retailers invaluable trade and business insight and inspiration, supporting them to operate more profitably and stay on top of all the latest industry news, legal requirements and opportunities. It would also provide an invaluable platform for food and drink suppliers to reach those retailers with key product advice and promotions.
With convenience retailers working in a time-pressured environment where every decision they make about their business is critical, the objective was to create the most engaging at-a-glance content for Unitas to share retail best practice, industry trends and promotions in a format that would be easily accessible, quickly absorbed and attention-grabbing.


Having created the name and branding, we developed a bespoke cross-platform HTML5-based digital title, hosted on the Unitas website. The title combines the visual appeal of a traditional magazine layout but with copy and signposting crafted for ease of digital reading, and animation and interactive features to enhance the on-screen experience.
InStore is sent directly to thousands of retailers across the UK to provide essential guidance, product news, ideas and support, and is packed with retailer case studies to offer inspiration. Suppliers can take advantage of a variety of display advertising and editorial opportunities to promote their latest campaigns and initiatives, putting their products right in front of an actively engaged audience.
As well as writing, designing and producing the digital magazine, we also create and manage the delivery of a suite of email campaigns to communicate content to retailers for each issue, directly connecting them to individual features of interest.
