Landmark Wholesale produced an annual planogram for its Lifestyle Express convenience store retailers, which communicated essential stock and merchandising information for branded and own-brand products.
The planogram was previously produced at significant expense, but the Bright Media Agency identified an opportunity that would not only eliminate our client’s outlay, but also generate profit for them too. After pitching the idea, we were given the green light to proceed.
Using our sales team’s extensive industry contacts within leading food and drink brands that supplied Landmark’s retailers, we came up with an advertising-led business model that worked in harmony with the necessary key messages.
And our assertion of the revenue-making potential of the planogram was realised when we sold 31 pages of advertising within the publication – resulting in a swing of more than £35,000, from previous production cost to profit for Landmark.
